What is your role and responsibilities at AWA? General management of operations including service, sales, parts distribution, assembly, rebuilds and designs.

Early in my career as a field service technician of scales, I became obsessed with learning industries operations. Primarily packaging machines that used a weighing device as part of the machine. This meant learning, fastening, plumbing, pneumatics, electrical, welding and painting. Fortunately, I had several mentors along the way who enjoyed teaching me their knowledge skills. Much was learned studying McMaster-Carr and Grainger catalogs which I had studied every page. Starting as a technician and given the opportunity in sales and marketing early in my career has led to our success. Because of the in-depth knowledge of knowing how everything works that we sell, provides end users with a huge value and advantages.

I’m excited to rejoin Dave and the rest of the AWA team, and can’t wait to tell people all about the new and innovative products we have in the works! I’ve been happily married for 30 years, and have three adult children.
